About House
About the Project

Homes where the seaside becomes a rhythm of everyday life.

MARE NORA is created for those who seek silence, privacy, and understated aesthetics by the Baltic Sea. It is a place for a slower pace of life — mornings by the sea, quiet evenings, and a daily connection with the coastal landscape.

Architecture
Architectural Direction

The spirit of the Memel region, interpreted through a contemporary lens

The project is inspired by the architectural tradition of the Memel region, expressed here in a restrained and contemporary form. Multi-pitched roofs, clear volumes, and vertical façade rhythms create a timeless, elegant character.

Monciškės Horizon
LOCATION

Where coastal tranquillity becomes a quality of life

Monciškės is a rare part of the Baltic coast where the natural rhythm of the landscape, a sense of openness, and a quiet elegance of setting have remained intact. Here, the sea is felt through light, the presence of pine forests, the stillness of the dunes, and the air of the Baltic.

Monciškės is a rare part of the Baltic coast where the natural rhythm of the landscape, a sense of openness, and a restrained elegance of setting have remained intact. Here, the sea is felt subtly through light, the presence of pine forests, the silence of the dunes, and air infused with the proximity of the Baltic. It is a place where privacy becomes part of everyday life, and tranquillity becomes one of the most valuable forms of living quality. MARE NORA is being created in an environment where architecture does not dominate, but instead blends harmoniously into the coastal character.

Materiality
MATERIALITY

Enduring solutions that shape architectural value

The façade is shaped by high-quality Finnish thermowood, while the ventilated façade system and durable construction solutions create a reliable, architecturally cohesive whole.

The materiality of the façades is shaped thoughtfully and consistently, combining solutions where architectural aesthetics, durability, and reliability in a coastal environment come together. The façade is defined by high-quality Finnish thermowood, distinguished by its natural character, brushed surface, and durable industrial coating. The ventilated façade system is applied for its breathable structure, durability, and structural precision. Insulation wool, stainless steel, and aluminium solutions create a reliable, long-lasting, and architecturally cohesive façade system. Powder-coated stainless steel details used for the window reveals add precision, durability, and aesthetic balance to the façade.

LEISURE AND WELLNESS SPACES

Spaces for everyday balance

MARE NORA’s quality of life is enriched by private leisure and wellness spaces designed for a balanced everyday rhythm by the sea. The 20-metre outdoor pool, sauna and fitness area become a natural extension of the architecture, calm and refined living — subtle daily rituals where rest, regeneration and movement come together.

MARE NORA’s quality of life is enriched by private leisure and wellness spaces created for a calm, balanced everyday rhythm by the sea. The 20-metre outdoor pool becomes more than a place to refresh — it is a quiet daily ritual, an experience of water, light and stillness that blends naturally into the architectural setting. Together with the sauna and fitness area, it forms a subtle culture of wellbeing, where rest, regeneration and movement come together, organically complementing the project’s understated aesthetic and refined lifestyle concept.
